Website Maintenance

Ongoing website updates and maintenance with a clear, agreed scope.

Is this a fit?

For businesses with an existing site that need an agreed set of updates, fixes or routine checks. We first assess the platform and access so the support scope matches the site we will maintain.

Use our landing-page guide to identify useful page and form checks before discussing maintenance priorities.

Keep your website useful

A website needs attention as your business and content change. We can scope updates and maintenance around your website and the support you need.

Agree the work

That may include content changes, fixes, software updates or routine checks, depending on the platform and project. The proposal identifies the work covered and how requests are handled.

Review changes before publishing

We assess the request, carry out the agreed work and check the affected pages and journeys. Where a change needs a wider build or redesign, we explain that before extending the scope.

Know who is responsible

Access, hosting, third-party services and ongoing responsibilities are agreed at the start, so there is a clear handover between the people maintaining the site.

Getting started

Tell us which platform your website uses and the support you are looking for.

Example deliverables

The written proposal confirms the items and quantities for your engagement. Depending on the agreed scope, these can include:

  • An agreed maintenance scope and a clear way to request and approve changes.
  • The named content updates, fixes, software updates or routine checks.
  • A record of completed work and checks of the affected pages or journeys.

Onboarding and access

We review the platform, hosting responsibilities, current condition and available recovery arrangements before agreeing work. We may need suitable CMS, development or hosting permissions and a safe preview. We assess each request, confirm anything outside scope, make the agreed change and check it before publication.

Do not send passwords, payment details or customer records through the public enquiry form. We arrange access through suitable account permissions.

Scope, fees and next steps

The platform, number and complexity of requests, third-party dependencies and agreed check frequency affect the fee. Response and delivery arrangements are defined in the proposal; the enquiry reply aim is not an emergency-support promise.

Our written proposal sets out deliverables, responsibilities, fees, any onboarding charge, revisions and the timetable before paid work starts. Third-party costs and extra work need written agreement. Sending an enquiry does not create a paid engagement. Fixed projects follow the milestones and cancellation terms in their proposal; any ongoing work has its own agreed scope and schedule.

We aim to reply to enquiries within two working days. We review the brief, clarify fit and agree the next step; this is a reply aim, not a delivery deadline. Read the service terms for the engagement basis.
